The itinerary for Day 2 was basically exploring every wonderful landmark in Isle of Skye. Thankfully, those were wonderful and sunny two-days in Isle of the Skye, see what happened in Day-3 here. Here’s the places we visited on Day-2.
Here’s the route and place we stopped by that day:
Where we stayed on Portree ~ Hint: It matches the color of this font 😉
I was VERY excited when me and my friends were dropped in front of the prettiest bed and breakfast in Portree. Yes, the color of the hostel was pink, because we stayed at Pink Guesthouse. Heart of Scotland Tour picked it up for us. The first thing about the hostel that made me excited was the fact it’s located right to the Portree Harbour, and the Harbour is the main view from the Hostel. How wonderful was it?? Beside that, the interior was very pretty, and the rooms were clean and pretty as well. I wanted to cry when it was time to left the house.
When you reach the highest spot in Portree overlooking the harbor, those four houses including pink gueshouse prettly decorate the view with such a colorful Tone. It was the most memorable stay in Scotland if not in Great Britain overall.

See the array of the house? and see the pink one? That’s where i stayed in Portree. Such a pretty B&B

This was the view that i got once opening the hostel’s entrance door. Such an amazing view !
Lealt Waterfall
This pretty waterfall became our first stop this morning. The waterfall is situated down below the main road it was not immediately visible to the visitor. I needed to go down to this hill for about 20 minutes before reaching the waterfall. The view was so amazing.

We were coming from the surface and took the winding down grassy step-way to get to the bottom and the waterfall

Mealt Falls
This was the second waterfall I visited and beauty as well. The tricky part was that you can only watch the waterfall from the right side of it, where the lookout point is provide. So you basically need to turn left to watch the waterfall. I wished I owned a drone so I can get the full picture from upfront.

The waterfall can be caught only if you lower your camera across the safety gate

Quiraing
I was so thankful the sun was really bright that day it made every picture everyone took in Quiraing looked very beautiful (at least to me). We were there for about 1 hour and we spread across the landscape and enjoy the spectacular view. Life is good. (side note: Warning! this is the kind of place where your legs are influenced by invisible power to tap down, running around, and jumping happily).
Neist Point Lighthouse
Could that day be more wonderful? We stopped by the Nest point lighthouse. Boy it was such an epic view over there! The dramatic cut of the cliff, the lambs that dotted the landscape, the blue color of the sea that seems keeping all those kinds of blue in the world, the green grass, and the curvy rock made that landscape was such an EPIC view. I pray that one day I can come back to that place and next time, I will just seat and breath then (and counting the lambs, of course).
